Bonjour, je m'appelle Maggie FitzSimons, mais mon nom en français est Marguerite. Je me réjouis de mon voyage à Grenoble. Je suis exalté de rencontrer Loulou en personne. Hi guys, I really hope you guys enjoy my story in Grenoble and I hope that this blog provides a good example for any future YEAP ambassadors. Loosely translated from above, I cannot wait for my stay and to finally meet Loulou. We have talked a few times over snapchat, but I really hope we will get along. I also really cannot wait to practice my french abroad. One thing I really want to say during my stay is "c'est une arnaque" (a funny french phrase meaning "it is a scam")

(despite my nearly crippling anxiety about forgetting something or being late LOL) ...
There is nothing in particular that I am looking forward to, I just want to see everything, however one thing I'm looking forward to is the cool weather compared to the hundred degree weather in phoenix. One thing I am slightly wearing or dreading is all the hiking, I do like hiking alot but my bad knee has been bothering me recently. My mom even specifically told my French family to not let me take the "bubble" up the mountain like the "other lazy americans."
Oh well, c'est la vie... I hope to update as soon as I get to Grenoble and will post either some videos or pictures ^^
